A care home since 1988,
we acquired Ganarew House in October 2005. We offer short - or long-term
accommodation for 37 residents, male and female over the age of 65; as
an EMI - registered home, we can provide specialist care for confused
clients.

Originally a vicarage, Ganarew House has been modernised to provide 33
bedrooms, many of them ensuite and with views over the garden and the
open hills of the Wye Valley and beyond. The main building is fully
equipped for wheelchair users, with passenger and stair lifts giving
access to all floors |
We've also made some significant
improvements, including a new extension renovating the large,
comfortable lounges and dining room. All public areas are non-smoking.
Situated in a small village, but close to
main roads allowing easy access, Ganarew House is surrounded by glorious
countryside, as well as it's own large and well-tended gardens, which
residents and their guests are free to enjoy at any time.
Our highly professional care staff are on
hand 24 hours a day to meet all our residents' needs. we have an
enthusiastic support team, providing a broad programme of structured
activities, including reminiscence therapy, musical movement and musical
afternoons, as well as a popular annual fete, which residents can join
in as and when they wish. The home also has the use of a minibus and we
organise regular outings and visits.
A house completely in harmony with its
environment, Ganarew offers the highest standards of care in peaceful,
pleasant surroundings.
